We are a small operation.
Four full-timers, four contractors, and a long bench of recipe testers. If you take cooking seriously and care about clear writing, we will probably be a fit.
How we work
We hire deliberately and slowly. Every new role fills a gap that the team has felt for at least a quarter. Hours are flexible, weekends are sacred, and we close between Christmas and New Year because nobody is publishing recipes the week of December 27th anyway.
Salaries are above market for our region. Health insurance is on us, retirement match is 4 percent, and PTO is unlimited but tracked because honestly nobody takes enough.
Where we are hiring now
Recipe Tester (Part-time, Remote-friendly)
You will cook every new recipe at least once and report back on timing, ratios, and any place a home cook might trip. Five recipes a week; your own equipment.
Cooking Writer
Write the public-facing version of each recipe after the second test. Strong opinions about commas welcome. Two years of professional food writing required.
Product Photographer
Photograph plates and prepared dishes for the recipe library. Niceville studio is provided; about two days a week. Your portfolio matters more than your resume.
Customer Care Specialist
Answer member emails about recipes, billing, and store orders. Patience, clear writing, and a tendency to dig until the answer is actually right.
